Hebner Lab Handbook

The topics linked below are meant to serve as a guide for you in navigating your time as a trainee in the Hebner lab. It is my goal as a PI to be as transparent as possible regarding not only my expectations for you, but also my logic behind these expectations. I believe it is powerful to understand these topics as part of your training, and that having insight into the bigger picture that I’ve envisioned based on my own experiences and goals will help you to better craft your expectations for yourself and the team you may lead someday.

While these guidelines should be followed by all group members as written, discussion is welcomed on any topic contained within them (or others of interest) and it is expected that they will evolve over time as our goals as a team evolve. Changes to the lab handbook will always be discussed with the full group before being implemented.
